ATP Series Automatic Packageratp

We are the only pharmacy in California to utilize TCGRx’s ATP oral solid packager and InspectRx units.  The ATP is engineered to provide better performance and greater reliability; making it the industry’s most advanced pouch packaging solution. TCGRx’s system is the only system on the market that allows 100% automation of formulary medications through the ATP and 100% verification of tray medications through the exclusive and patented Universal Lighted Tray. The ATP system facilitates both unit and multi-dose packaging by easily switching out the lower packaging unit which reduces downtime and provides on-site redundancy. The ATP series adjusts to accommodate from 128, 192, 256, 320, and 384 canister medications.

Working in tandem with ATP-Rx, SmartTrayRx™ facilitates accurate filling of non-formulary medications through a fully interfaced application that directs our technicians to fill the item using light direction. This paperless system also provides user tracking for every step of the process. Most importantly, this patented technology allows us to confidently label and fill every pouch accurately without costly rework.

After pouches are generated from ATP-Rx, InspectRx™ helps to ensure that the right pill is in the right pouch for the right patient. Today, pharmacy staff members spend too much time manually filtering through pouches to verify them for accuracy. Through the electronic prescription verification system of InspectRx, our staff members can now see every pill in every pouch assisted with a dashboard to guide the user to specific pouches that may have an issue. The system not only reduces the labor associated with handling the pouches but also increases the overall accuracy of the pouch packaging system.

Using volume, size, shape, and color, InspectRx compares every pill with the information printed on the reverse side. Both sides are photographed and archived in a self-maintained database and viewable for a staff member to check each one electronically.
